Gluten-Free Gut Health

Your gut hosts trillions of bacteria that influence digestion, nutrient absorption, immunity, mood, and metabolic health.

Gluten-related conditions disrupt this ecosystem, especially celiac, damaging the gut lining. This harm reduces nutrient absorption, the microbial diversity, and triggers inflammation that ripples beyond the digestive tract. Rebuilding a strong, diverse microbiome is one of the most important steps after going gluten-free.

Fermented foods are rich in probiotics that help repopulate the gut and strengthen the gut barrier. Paired with fiber-rich whole foods, the prebiotics that feed those bacteria form the foundation of gluten-free gut health.
In my kitchen, yogurt, sauerkraut, fermented vegetables, beet kvass, and kombucha are always on hand.
