  • Prepare the ingredients: Rinse the chickpeas and scoop avocado flesh. Melt the chocolate and cool slightly.
  • Blend base: Add chickpeas, avocado, date paste, peanut butter, cocoa, vanilla, and salt to a food processor.
  • Add liquids: Pour in almond milk and melted chocolate.
  • Process until silky: Blend 2–3 minutes, scraping the sides. Add milk if needed.
  • Taste and adjust: Add more date paste for sweetness or cocoa for richness.
  • Serve or store: Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Keeps 5–6 days refrigerated.

Notes

Use ripe avocado and soft dates for best texture.
Cool chocolate before blending. Freeze portions for up to 3 months.
