Crispy, juicy, and golden with turmeric and paprika, these oven-baked chicken wings are a healthier alternative to fried wings. Baked on a rack so the fat drips away, they’re packed with flavor but light enough to enjoy anytime.
In a large bowl, combine rice bran oil, turmeric, paprika, pink salt, and black pepper. Mix to create a golden marinade.
Add the chicken wings and toss until evenly coated. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan).
Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil, then place an oven-safe rack over it. Arrange the wings on the rack in a single layer.
Bake for 25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
Serve immediately with fresh salad or roasted/steamed vegetables.
Notes
Pat wings dry before marinating for extra crispiness. For spicier wings, add ½ tsp chili powder. Can be cooked in an air fryer at 180°C for 20–25 minutes.Best served hot, but leftovers reheat well in the oven.
