Ingredients
  

  • 300 g plane yoghurt Greek or homemade
  • 300 ml water filtered
  • pinch or two sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a blender or whisking jug, combine yoghurt, water, and salt.
  • Blend or whisk until frothy and smooth.
  • Or simply pour water into a jar along with yoghurt in 1:1 ratio, put the lid on and shake it vigourosly.
  • Taste and adjust the salt or consistency.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Use Bulgarian or Greek yoghurt for a rich texture in your Ayran drink.
For a lighter version, use sparkling water.
Add crushed mint or dill for a refreshing twist.
Consume immediately; it’s best freshly made.
